    FB28 cable fault tester includes cable fault ranging unit, pathfinding and identification unit, high-voltage signal unit, fault location unit, a total of four units, can be applied to a variety of scenarios, such as farmland watering cable fault checking and repairing, highways, community property and landscaping green belts, street lamp cable maintenance, field power cables, factories, mines and enterprises and other scenarios.

  • Ranging Unit:

1. Can be measured below 35KV level of all cables with high and low resistance faults, widely adapted. 

2. With high-voltage equipment with the traditional impact of high-voltage flashover method and low-voltage pulse method. 

3. Any high-resistance faults are presented in the simplest similar low-voltage pulse short-circuit fault waveform characteristics, very easy to read.

  • Path Unit:

    Path unit is divided into transmitter and receiver, is based on the principle of reflection of electromagnetic waves in the transmission process and the principle of electromagnetic induction, combined with digital filtering, wireless reception, software control and design of high-tech products. The signal of the transmitter is directly applied to the target cable (blackout cable) by a direct line, i.e. the direct connection method.   • High Voltage Unit:

    Adopts single-chip computer to control the boosting voltage. It can be used to do 35KV and below cable fault test high-voltage source, DC withstand voltage test high-voltage source, and can be used for energy storage impact discharge test after adding capacitor.   • Fixed-point Unit:

    The PTR30 fixed-point instrument is equipped with first-class integrated circuits and amplifiers. Filters on the instrument's sound channel maximize the removal of interfering noise, while enhancing the sound generated by the arc. The LCD display shows both acoustic and magnetic pulses and the distance of the fault point from the probe test point. The instrument is composed of five parts: electromagnetic wave sensor, acoustic vibration sensor, CPU data processor, liquid crystal display and audio amplifier.
